Issue/Introduction

The scripts in the USS MAPDB folder directory all have permission 777.

Can we change these permissions to 775 to disable public write permission?

What are the recommended permissions to set for the scripts in the USS MAPDB folder?

Environment

Release : 6.0

Component : CA COMPLIANCE EVENT MANAGER

Resolution

The scripts referenced and output from the scripts are to read some policy out of the mapdb.
As these are user created scripts not supplied by Broadcom,  they can set to any permissions you like.
The script MUST have execute permission to run.
So 775 would be fine if that is what is required.
