Issue/Introduction

We need details on Cisco Meraki Probe deployment with Windows server.

Environment

Release : 20.3

Component : UIM - CISCO_MERAKI

Resolution

The techdocs for the Meraki Probe has the details on the step by step procedure to configure the meraki probe in AC.

 

You would not install it on a Meraki device. The probe uses restapi - instructions are in the above AC configuration portion of the documentation.

Base on the probe it looks like we support Linux, Solaris, Windows

 You have to make sure that the other files are already installed on the server (updated Robot and java_jre version).

There are some monitoring options using the snmpcolletor probe that might be helpful for you.

 

Also check the Robot version compatibility.

 

If you are on 20.3, it is recommended to go to stay on 20.3.3 with the current patches available. Please check if you have the latest patch installed.
