sqlserver probe view shows few metrics

Issue/Introduction

We have assigned the sqlserver probe to a sql server and trying to add a view in UIM with all the metrics being collected.  When creating a view we are only seeing 4 metrics to select.  How can our SQL team see the status of all the metrics being collected?

Release : 20.3

Component : UIM - SQLSERVER

Cause

Based on the sqlserver probe logs, there is a permission issue
Jun 21 14:59:48:720 [17544] sqlserver: Value of error Permission denied and error no. 13

Resolution

Please verify the SQL user permission
For SQL Server versions 2005, 2008, and 2012, 2014, 2016 set VIEW SERVER STATE permission on master database. Also, map the user for the following databases:

- master
- model
- msdb
- ReportServer
- ReportServerTempDB
- tempdb
