How can we create multi-file POFFLOAD backup tapes?

Issue/Introduction

The operations group create many LST offloads during a week using Dynam. They want to know is there a way to move those daily lst offloads to a single Dynam tape.

 

Resolution

There is no way to have Dynam/T control multi-file POFFLOAD backup tapes since the backup files are not written using standard LIOCS. i.e. there are tape marks written throughout the backup file.
