Issue/Introduction

- We have deployed an alarm profile and set customized alert to critical, but whenever services goes down we are receiving two alerts: one from service MCS profile and another from the alarm profile. Can we remove the default alerting from the MCS profile?

Resolution

- Default alert for ntservices is coming from the ntservices probe, this can be disabled by following the steps below:

1. Double Click on ntservices probe.

2. Select setup tab.

3. Click on Profiles.

4. Select the parameter which is triggering QOS message and uncheck Send quality of service message on State option.
