Issue/Introduction

The script is failing when hitting the Xpath:

 

(5291) Script failed at step 13: Element 'xpath=(//example[@href='#example'])'not found in 30 seconds.

 

 

 

Environment

Release : SAAS

Component : CA APP SYNTHETIC MONITOR (WATCHMOUSE)

Cause

Root cause: Memory Consumption

Resolution

1.  All ASM stations from different geo-locations have a hard cap of 256MB memory. Once the ASM checks memory goes beyond 256MB, the checks will start to fail due to insufficient memory on the hosted stations.  
2.  ASM provided 2 solutions 
     a) Optimize ICDM pages to consume less memory  (or)
     b) Setup multiple OPMS stations to increase memory limits
