File transfer hung

Issue/Introduction

A file transfer between Unix agents was hung for 9 hours before it was caught. 

 

Environment

Release : 12.1

Component : AUTOMATION ENGINE

Linux RH 7

Cause

The messages in the source agent log showed:

20210603/200603.188 - U02003069 Connection 'HOST_NAME,(s=11,ID=12526)' renamed to '*FTX(HOST_NAME,1914438)'.

20210604/054228.502 - U02003070 Unable to forward NAT message to channel '0/*IPC(FTX,1914438)', reason 'channel not found'.

Resolution

The customer's network team identified that they are seeing dropped packets.
