WCC R12 not installing - not showing install options, only upgrade but products were removed

CA Workload Automation AE - Scheduler (AutoSys)

Issue/Introduction

Customer uninstalled 11.4.7 WCC but attempts to install WCC 12 keeps saying it needs to be upgraded.

 

unicntrl status shows no trace of previous version of WCC

Resolution

Try renaming 

/opt/CA/SharedComponents/installer/administration/admi

 to 

/opt/CA/SharedComponents/installer/administration/admi2

See if the products still apear in your listings and see if the install now gives you the desired new install options.
