LiveUpdate Administrator console is unresponsive and CPU spikes

Issue/Introduction

LiveUpdate Administrator (LUA) jobs are failing and Apache Commons Daemon Service Runner process has spiked CPU.  The LUA console is unresponsive when attempting to navigate to different tabs.

Environment

Release :LUA 2.3

Cause

This may occur when the content inside the LUA database increases.

Resolution

Content within the database will need to be purged.  There are various supported methods for purging the content repository for LUA.

The latest version of LUA can expand the available memory size, so this problem can be expected to be suppressed. The latest version of LUA can be obtained from the following site.
