Issue/Introduction

Data Center Security (DCS) 6.5 upgrade to DCS 6.9.0 fails when the upgrade wizard is attempting to make the UMC user

Environment

Data Center Security (DCS) 6.9.0, Data Center Security (DCS) 6.5.x 

Data Center Security Monitoring Edition
Data Center Security Server
Data Center Security Server Advanced

 

Cause

DCS 6.9.0 needs to be upgraded to DCS 6.8 MP2 before attempting to upgrade to DCS 6.9.0

Resolution

Please revert your saved database and DCS Manager and then upgrade to DCS 6.8 MP2 first.
