Issue/Introduction

This happens on the Portfolio > Portfolio Timeline page, as well as apps that use this 'timeline' functionality.  When you uncheck the "Show Workspace Scoped Milestones" box the milestones disappear, however after about 41 seconds, the milestones reappear. Recording is attached.

Resolution

There are two issues here currently.

 

Issue #1.  At this time, the Portfolio > Portfolio Timeline page is taking a little time to refresh after the checking or unchecking of the "Show Workspace Scoped Milestones" box.  This will wipe out all of the Milestone scoping initially, THEN will repopulate (after about 45 seconds) with all Milestones that are not Workspace Scoped.  This can cause confusion when the screen has no Milestones initially, then displays Milestones again.  We are working on this issue.

Issue #2.  Some of the Dates can have multiple Milestones with that Target date.  If this is the case, then this milestone line will not disappear when unchecking the "Show Workspace Scoped Milestones" box.  These results can be verified by using the Plan > Timeboxes page (Set to Milestones) to sort Milestones by Target Date to verify which Milestones should be on the Portfolio > Portfolio Timeline page.  If a Milestones total project count is "All", that Milestone is "Workspace Scoped".  See screenshots below
