Validation Range not honoring in Number Type attribute for Resource SubObject in the List view

Issue/Introduction

We've a requirement to have a SubObject for Resource Object. We did created one sub-object and one of the attribute in the SubObject is Number Data Type having a validation range (for ex: 50-99).

We've given the range at Object attribute level and saved. It is working well as expected in Create/Edit Layout, but not in List Layout. When we configured it in List Layout of the sub-object and enter values other than range specified, page goes blank and reloads but no error message is thrown like "Number out of range etc" which comes in Create/Edit screen.

Could you please test this scenario and let us know how we can resolve it.

Note : I've tested this for different objects, but I found it is not working only for Resource Object.

Release : 15.8.1

Component : CA PPM STUDIO

Resolution

It was confirmed in 15.8.1 when attempting to update numeric attribute with range values defined it is not working in the List View as it does the page refresh and value is not updated.

Same behavior is working as expected in GA version which is 15.9.2.
