Extremely long process time deploying an image to a machine where on other machines is much shorted duration
Release : 3.x
Component : Imaging
Since imaging is network centric, there are several possible solutions to this issue
1) Network congestion. Try imaging while the network has more bandwidth
2) Newer NIC Preboot driver. Locate a preboot driver for the winpe version
3) Router\Switch collisions. Try a different port
4) if imaging many computers at one time use Multicast. This will require enabling IGMP on the routers and switches
5) If using multicast, The available bandwidth to send the image to the endpoints will deliver the image at the lowest c device on the subnet. For instance if a printer is on the subnet and it is 100base-T. and computer systems that have 1000Mbps NICs are on the same subnet the image will be delivered at a speed of 100Mbps
6) Use a Hub device as these devices multicast by default
