Locater Search - Devices By IP not returning same result as Searching Devices by Network_Address

Issue/Introduction

If I do a locater search -> Devices -> By IP using 1.1.1.1 I get a response "No Models Found".  If I do the same search by attribute Network_Address (selecting devices only), I do get a result.

 

Environment

Release : 20.2

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Cause

The Devices By IP search reads the USMOtherIPAddresses attribute and this address was not listed in that attribute.

Resolution

Reconfigure the model.  The device IPAddress was updated but the device was not reconfigured so the USMOtherIPAddresses attribute was not updated. Reconfigure the model by right clicking - Reconfiguration - Reconfigure Model.
