An incident occurred in background server and it has restarted automatically. If background server were down, standby server should be enabled as active server automatically. However, auto-failover did not occur.
What are the required instructions and components to configure auto-failover?

One thing to keep in mind is that the Advance Availability functionality in Service Desk by itself does not facilitate auto-failover. One will need to have a number of third party applications deployed which perform the health monitoring and administering the failover logic in Service Desk
