Issue/Introduction

We have 4 old servers in PROD environment that have been configured with Native TDM authentication mode.  Now, we are using AD/LDAP authentication for all of our other servers in PROD.  The problem is that I need to make those 4 old servers to use AD/LDAP authentication, but I cannot login with an AD Account for which a Native TDM account with the same name already exists in the portal.

Is it possible to use AD/LDAP account then or do I have to delete all Native TDM accounts first?

Environment

Release : 4.9.1

Component : CA Test Data Manager - Others

Resolution

In order to easily change from Native users to AD/LDAP is to modify the gtrep_security_user Table in the repo.  In the SU_AUTHORITY_NAME column, change from NATIVE to Default, the portal will take care of populating the USER_DN information on its own once the user logs in.
