Issue/Introduction

Can we monitor application pool through IIS MCS?

 

 

Environment

UIM: 20.3

Probe: IIS MCS

Resolution

Monitoring application pool with IIS MCS profile is not possible at the moment, Probe monitors only general check points in MCS. The app pool data like app pool CPU, app pool memory etc. under alarm policy are from the probe, which will not generate any alarms. In enhanced IIS probe default alarm policy will be created.
