Issue/Introduction

Unable to log in CAPM console due to user authentication error:

 

Environment

DX NetOps CAPM 20.2.x

Resolution

The passwords have expired. For example, you will see warning messages such as the following in the CAPC service log (PCService.log):

WARN  | qtp1485232172-32958      | 2021-06-07 09:55:04,275 | com.ca.im.portal.services.sso.SingleSignOnWsImpl                 

      | Attempted login with expired password: user 'Test_User'

And 

WARN  | qtp1485232172-32937      | 2021-06-07 09:55:30,334 | com.ca.im.portal.services.sso.SingleSignOnWsImpl                 

      | Failed to authenticate user 'Test_User': UserAuthentication - Account not found or password incorrect.

So you need to set the password expiry in the SsoConfig utility so that it either doesn't expire or reset it for the users affected.
