Issue/Introduction

For a specific Audit detail, we would need to know the IP address of the host initiating a connection to the AE server.

We found the user ID and the session ID in the various WPs and CPs logs, but not the IP which initiates the connection.

The Apache logs reports the IP of the host which connect to the server, but no user ID or session ID.

Is there a way to correlate a logon in the WP/CP logs to an IP address.

Resolution

It is not possible to make the link between an AWI user and its IP address. It seems that the Tomcat localhost_access_<date>.txt log is the closed to what you can use to for monitoring IP addresses.
