Thread Dump tab missing in WebView for APM 20.x

Issue/Introduction

APM version is the latest on-prem APM 20 build

Our internal users have noticed that the Thread Dumps tab is missing from Webview in this version of APM. This is a feature that is often used by our users. Can you verify if there is any configuration available in APM 20.x to reenable this? Or is it supposed to be there and it is an issue with the build we have deployed?

 

Environment

Release : 20.x and later on Premise and SaaS

Component : Webview

Cause

Development has moved from a thread dump feature to a stack trace collection feature. This stack trace feature will work the same as, and possibly be more useful than, the thread dump process.

 

 

Resolution

APM Workstation can be still used to work with thread dumps.

To have this tab enabled , access of Power User or administrator is required.
