Is there any impact of installing and enabling the antivirus scan on the Automation Engine and AWI servers?

Cause

Question regarding the installation of anti-virus on the Automic engine and AWI servers.

Resolution

It is always advised to create exceptions within the anti-virus software to exclude the installation/working directories for the Automic application. This is because anti-virus scans will lock files while the scan is being performed. The files being locked will cause issues with the application and could cause outages.
