Came across this when adding new users.
The format of the ACCOUNT record is "ACCOUNT acct1 distrib acct2 ..."
If I add a NEW account record with acct1 and 2 I get ACCOUNT ACCT1 ACCT2.
However, if I now add a distribution code of DAT I end up with ACCOUNT ACCT1 DAT - basically the distribution code replaces the 2nd account code.
Not sure this is correct. Have I possibly missed something in the manual?
Release : 3.2
Component : CA VM:Secure for z/VM
As documented in the IBM CP Planning and Admin guide for the ACCOUNT directory record:
Operands
acctnum1
defines the primary account number. An account number can be 1- to 8-characters long.
distcode
defines the distribution code for printed and punched output. If you specify acctnum1 and do not
specify distcode, the distribution code is the user ID from the USER or IDENTITY statement.
If you are defining alternative account numbers, you must specify distcode.
Bottom line, the 2nd 'field' in the ACCOUNT record is distcode so if you want to have more than the 1 account number, you have to enter distcode.
