Issue/Introduction

When configuring the SEPM Controller connection, you provide the correct username, password, IP and port information, but instead get a 500 internal error in response.

Resolution

You cannot use a SEPM administrator with a password that contains any of the following special characters: @$#`%^&+=[]{}|\;:",<>/?

Please change the password for the SEPM account to exclude any characters beyond a-z, 1-0,  and A-Z and ! or . special characters.
