Performance Management integration with Prometheus

Issue/Introduction

We would like to increase the value of DX NetOps Performance Management (PM) data and combine it with other large scalable monitoring systems for an better holistic overview of our environment.

Other than using OData and replication, do you have any suggestions on how to export the PM data in near real-time to other tools?

• I see other Broadcom tools are using Prometheus. Do you have any guidance on how you would do this? To Prometheus or to Elasticsearch?
• Do you have any other monitoring products that you support a plug-in like option?

Currently we have a LOT of Odata searches but its not as scalable as we would like.

All supported DX NetOps Performance Management releases

Resolution

This would be an Enhancement Request to have a new integration between Prometheus and DX NetOps Performance Manager (PM).

At this time there is no such supported integration available.

The Prometheus tools do integrate with our Operation Intelligence (OI) tool. From there PM integrates with OI so any data OI pulls from PM would presumably be available via Prometheus.

The best next step here is engaging your Account Management team for additional input. They may have access to additional solutions that could help solve this request.
