Update LDW_Core waiting on normality jobs

Issue/Introduction

The nightly RiskFabric Processing job is hung and does not proceed past the step Update LDW_Core. Ephemeral normality processing jobs (for example, RiskFabric_ProcessNormality_AuthenticationEvents) are listed under the SQL Server Agent > Jobs folder in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).

Environment

Release : 6.5.x

Component : RiskFabric Processing

Cause

The normality processing jobs are hung, preventing the RiskFabric Processing job from completing the Update LDW_Core step and proceeding to the Custom Policy Data step. Deleting these ephemeral jobs enables processing to continue but the same symptoms return during the next nightly processing job run.

Resolution

A fix for this condition was released in version 6.6.
