Installing VNA and JasperReports on the same Linux server

Issue/Introduction

Would it be a supported configuration to install both the latest VNA and latest JasperReports on the same RHEL 7.6 server for Spectrum integration?

 

 

Environment

Release : 20.2

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Resolution

Broadcom will always suggest installing application on their own systems.

However, we realize that sometimes that just isn't possible.

As long as the resources are met, both these applications can be installed as long as the ports used are different.

Default chosen ports will remain different, but if different ports are selected be mindful of the other application.
