Issue/Introduction

Is it possible to view the full storage class description field on the SMSSTOR command?

z/OS

Resolution

 Yes.  From a SYSVIEW session enter the command:

 

VLFIELD,FSMSDESCR and change the LENgth field.

The max length of that field in particular is 120.

to see the complete value for the field.
