Issue/Introduction

It's clear that from the area of a ticket, the CA PAM process can be launched, but there would be a problem that processes are created in the reverse direction, i.e a process is launched from a calendar and that perform tasks on tickets as if they were scheduled tasks?

Environment

Release : 17.3

Component : PROCESS AUTOMATION CONTENT FOR SDM

Resolution

The answer to this question:

"My question is if the license allows me to run processes in CA PAM that have not been launched from CA SDM and are executed from a Scheduler within CA PAM or to launch processes demand that perform tasks on requests and incidents in CA SDM"  is YES!

Additional Information

There is no physical license and no licensing engine in ITPAM that would prevent things from working. The ITPAM 'license' is purely a contractual one. Should be able to run processes from the internal ITPAM scheduler that should work fine.

In regards to any additional license questions or concerns then please reach out to your Account manager for more clarity on Licensing point.
