Issue/Introduction

In Google Chrome ver 89.0, when adding a field extension, the field can be created, but when attempting to add it with "Add Existing Fields", the window does not appear to select it within the Chrome browser.

Similarly, in Microsoft IE-11, when adding a field extension, the field can be created, but when attempting to add it with "Add Existing Fields", the given field does not show up on the form using IE.

Environment

Release : 17.1

Component : CA Asset Portfolio Management

Cause

The issue is specific to ITAM 17.1 and is a compatibility issue with later browser updates and ITAM 17.1 

Resolution

As the issue is seen only in the 17.1 release, which will no longer be updated due to the forthcoming EOS status of the given release (Sept, 2021), users are advised to upgrade to 17.3 or higher to address the above issue.
