Issue/Introduction

Client is frequently experiencing the following XCOM error message for one of their SEND JOB transfer:  

XCOMM0126E FMH7 SENSE 00000000

XCOMN0288E System Function failed, rc=1

XCOMM0399I 000001 MEMBERS TRANSMITTED SUCESSFULLY BEFOR LOGIC ERROR   DSN=

 

 

Environment

Release : 11.6

Component : CA XCOM Data Transport for Windows

Cause

The PDS member that contained the command to be executed on Windows contained extraneous characters at the end of the line. Here is what the PDS member contained:

       CALL D:\directory\user program value1 value2                                          &P091662

The extraneous characters were "&P091662". 

 

 

Resolution

Make sure to remove all extraneous characters from the line that will be executed on the remote system before performing the SEND JOB transfer.
