Portlet creation studio error: "Contact Administrator"

Issue/Introduction

Clarity Studio is throwing Error System error: Contact system administrator when creating a new portlet. 

Steps to reproduce error:

  1. Go to Administration->Portlets
  2. Create new Portlet
  3. Select Data Provider

Environment

Release : 15.9.2

Component : Clarity Studio

Resolution

To remove symptoms, flush the Clarity cache and configuration (See Flush Clarity server cache).

If that doesn't help, please contact Broadcom Support for assistance. Reviewing the app-ca.logs may help in identifying the cause.
