Issue/Introduction

Trying to save a report in cabi, it returns the following message: An unexpected error prevented JasperReports from saving the report. Please contact your administrator.

Release : 20.3

Component : UIM - CABI

Cause

This is generally a permissions issue.

Resolution

Verify that the user that is trying to save the report has the permissions to the location where they are trying to save the report. In cabi:

- Select View > Repository
- Traverse the tree to the location and right click the folder in question and select Permissions
- Adjust the permissions accordingly
