Issue/Introduction

Microsoft .Net framework and WMF on main and distributed landscape servers

Will this have any effect on Spectrum?

Environment

Release : 21.2, 22.2

Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER

Resolution

Spectrum was never tested with .NET installed or WFM.

However, these should not affect Spectrum in anyway.  As long as the ports are available, Spectrum should work just fine.

There are no known issues reported against these.

Additional Information

Side Note: If using the SCOM Connector to integrate with Microsoft's Systems Center Operations Management software, the connector does use/require .net framework.
