Socket error when trying to release Quarantined messages from DLP Enforce.

Issue/Introduction

You find are not able to release Quarantined messages from the DLP Enforce server and you see socket errors when reviewing the logs. You also find that you also cannot add, modify, or delete any Application certificates from the Administration > Certificates > Applications tab.

However, you are able to release the messages from the Messaging Gateway Control Center web interface directly without issue.

Cause

The certificate truststore data has become corrupted.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, you must restore the appliance using a known good backup taken before the issue began, if available. Otherwise you will need to restore the appliance to factory defaults and freshly configure settings.
