Does DLP have the ability to scan for spam or fraudulent incoming emails and quarantine any such emails?

Resolution

No, DLP does not scan incoming emails.
And DLP does not have any spam filters for outgoing emails.

DLP is designed to prevent the exfiltration, loss, of sensitive data, not to scan incoming emails.

Symantec/Broadcom has other solutions that can help you detect and block fraudulent incoming emails.
Two such solutions are Email Security.cloud and Messaging Gateway.
