Issue/Introduction

The Task Timeline  Duration does not match the fly-out or on the grid. 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 

  1. Go to the Project Timeline
  2. Click '+' button to create a new task in a Project
  3. In the Fly-out, update the dates for this task 
    • Start = Monday May 3, 2021
    • Finish = Friday, May 28, 2021
    • The Duration column will show 20 work days as expected based on the calendar 
  4. Go to the Tasks Grid - put the Duration field in the grid layout and see the value remains at 20 as expected 
  5. Go back to the Tasks Timeline and look at the Duration column 

Expected Results: The Duration value in the Timeline Column cell should equal 20 days. 

Actual Results: The Duration value shows 25 days. 

 

This has also been seen where the duration is 1 day (not a milestone).  Timeline shows 0 but  grid and  the flyout shows 1.

Cause

This is caused by DE61118

 

Resolution

DE61118 is fixed in 15.9.3
