Custom attribute on Investment not showing decimals in List View

Issue/Introduction

User creates a Number data type custom attribute on a custom investment with 2 decimals however it round up in the Modern UX

Steps to Recreate

1. Log in to Clarity PPM Classic UI
2. Click Administration>>Objects
3. Create new Object
4. Fill out required information
5. Check API Enabled
6. Select Investment Extension in Object Extension field
7. Save
8. In the new Custom Investment, click Attributes tab
9. Click New
10. Fill out Attribute Name and Attribute ID
11. Select Data Type 'Number'
12. Decimal Places = 2
13. Fill out API Attribute ID field
14. Click Save and Return
15. Go To Modern UX
16. Click on the Investments icon
17. Select the investment created
18. Click on Grid View
19. In the Column Panel, select the Number attribute created to show on the Grid
20. Add a row with the required information
21. Number attribute type 0.5

Expected Result - It will keep 0.5 in the number attribute field

Actual Result - 0.5 rounds up to 1

Cause

Working as expected.  The value for the Number Decimal Display in the View Options was not configured to display Decimals

 

Resolution

Click on the View Options icon and select the Number Decimal Display you are require.
