We are trying to re-register E2K7PS.dll as per https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/130060/idm-exchange-2016-agent-fails.html however the new dll is not being used and the old one is still being used by the system

Registry contains duplicate entries, still referencing the old dll
Using the registry editor, search for E2K7PS.dll references. We should only see 2 references for the dll, both using the correct version details of the desired dll. The release should be the same on the dll as well as across registry
If the version in the registry is not the same as the dll's:
1. Unregister and re-register using the methods provided here https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/130060/idm-exchange-2016-agent-fails.html
or
2. Overall remove and reinstall the agent via the control panel.
