PDSMAN not recording updates made via copys or restores made by dfdss

Issue/Introduction

We are using pdsman to record various updates to datasets . If updates are made using IEBCOPY, ISPF etc then pdsman records the update, however if we are copying a dataset or restoring a dataset using DFDSS then we don't see a pdsman record for this update.

Release : 7.7

Component : CA-PDSMAN for OS/390

Resolution

PDSM is working as designed. DFDSS does ot use STOW processing so PDSM does not see the restore updates.
