WCC Installation fails during SDK installing phase with *** SEVERE ERROR *** Silent Install abort due to bad iss file in function Deserialize_AS_INFO_COMPONENTS name nIWBV

Issue/Introduction

When trying to install WCC we're getting the following error:

12:04:33 SDK installing
12:04:46 *** SEVERE ERROR *** Silent Install abort due to bad iss file in function Deserialize_AS_INFO_COMPONENTS name nIWBV
12:04:46 An severe error occurred, and the Install has failed.
12:04:46 Installation Finished Rc=1

The server also has EEM installed but we are running the same configuration in different environments. Please advise how we can rectify this issue.

 

Environment

Release : 11.4.7

Component : WORKLOAD CONTROL CENTER

Resolution

Install the WAAE SDK using CA WAAE 11.3.6 SP8 install DVD ISO.
