Capacity Manager database server IP got changed, provide the steps to configure new IP address

Issue/Introduction

The Capman database has change IP address. Please provide the steps on how to configure the new IP address of the Capman database, at the Capman application server?

Environment

Release : 2.94

Component : CA CAPACITY MANAGER

Cause

Change of IP on Database server

Resolution

Please follow below steps when there tis a change in IP.

 

1. Stop Tomcat Server.

 

2.Change HOST = 'IP_Address' in all the below mentioned files:

Capacity Command Center 2.9.4\ApacheTomcat\webapps\ccc\WEB-INF\classes\ccc.properties
Capacity Command Center 2.9.4\ccc-migrations\cml\environments\ccc-db.properties
Capacity Command Center 2.9.4\ccc-migrations\standard\environments\ccc-db.properties
Capacity Command Center 2.9.4\ccc.properties
Capacity Command Center 2.9.4\ApacheTomcat\webapps\DM\WEB-INF\classes\config.txt

 

3. Start Tomcat Service.
