How to configure the SSLogger for the first time

Resolution

To set up SSLogger

 

1. Launch SpectroSERVER and OneClick.
   
   
2. Model a device (or choose one that you have already modeled) and write down the name of the device for future reference.
   
   
3. Create a text file called “models” in the DX NetOps Spectrum SSLogger directory.
   
   
4. Type the following into the file and then save and close the file:
   
   
   
5. Create a text file called “SSLogger.dat” in the DX NetOps Spectrum SSLogger directory.
   
   
6. Type the following into the file and then save and close the file:
   
   
   
7. Launch the SSLogger
   

   [email protected] /c/win32app/Spectrum/SSLOGGER
   $ ./SSlogger.exe

   C:\win32app\Spectrum\SSLOGGER\SSlogger.exe version 3.0rev0
   SSlogger connection to landscape 0x1000000 reestablished.
   SSlogger started at: Friday, May 28, 2021 11:06:11 AM

How to resolve these errors:

[email protected] /c/win32app/Spectrum/SSLOGGER
$ ./SSlogger.exe
Unable to open file: SSLogger.dat
Closing all client connections...
Closing all sslogger connection...
C:\win32app\Spectrum\SSLOGGER\SSlogger.exe has successfully shut down.

Missing $SPECROOT/SSLOGGER/SSLogger.dat file.

$ ./SSlogger.exe
Unable to open file: models
Closing all client connections...
Closing all sslogger connection...
C:\win32app\Spectrum\SSLOGGER\SSlogger.exe has successfully shut down.
