SAML Configuration Identifier restricted to 30 characters

Issue/Introduction

While setting up SAML authentication using Azure. SAML Configuration Identifier value (Administration → Authentication & Keys → SAML CONFIGURATIONS) on New UX is restricted to 30 characters

The response found 

"ID should be 30 characters or less"

The App ID in Azure Active Directory is 36 characters.

 

Environment

Clarity Release : 15.9.1

 

Resolution

The Configuration identifier in clarity just happens to be a unique identifier for the clarity SAML database. The azure App ID need not exactly match to this field.
