Issue/Introduction

USFEXTO is abending at IDMS startup with the following message:

UF999999 Vnnn T0 TASKA ABNORMAL TERMINATION USFEXT0 PINT 00000004

 

Environment

Release : 19.0

Component : CA IDMS/DB

Cause

The error indicates the Task Analyzer exits are active but the product intent module RHDCPINT which specifies which product components you intend to use does not have an entry for CA IDMS Task Analyzer.

The Task Analyzer exits are activated by the following SYSIDMS parameter in the CV:

TASK_ANALYZER_EXITS=ON 

 

Resolution

To deactivate Task Analyzer

Remove TASK_ANALYZER_EXITS=ON from SYSIDMS.

To Activate Task Analyzer

Add TASK_ANALYZER_EXITS=ON in SYSIDMS and add an entry for it in RHDCPINT.

JCL to assemble and link the RHDCPINT module is in JOB03 of the configuration jobs. The source is om the CUSTOM.SRCLIB(RHDCPINT).  Any line that has an '*' are components you do NOT intend to use. 
Uncomment the line for Task Analyzer and assemble and link the RHDCPINT module:

         #DEFPINT TSKANALZ         CA IDMS Task Analyzer
