How to disable ADS Trace on a CV where the ADS Trace component software (task code ADST) is not available?
Environment
Release: All supported releases.
Component: ADS Trace.
Resolution
Dialogs may have ADS Trace enabled on a CV where ADS Trace is not available for a number of reasons, such as ADS Trace may have been uninstalled after enabling the dialogs or the dialogs were migrated from a CV with ADS Trace to a CV that does not have ADS Trace.
All code added by ADST has either "ADSTRACE" or "ADSTEXB" in column 73. Delete any line of code with "ADSTRACE" or "ADSTEXB" in column 73 as an alternative to using the ADST task, and recompile the dialog to turn off the trace. The record AT-LINK-RECORD may also be removed from the dialog.
