Issue/Introduction

Troubleshooting Exchanger related warnings and errors that are written in universe.log is complicated and messages not indicate where they come from ( what particular uproc, session, management unit, node, session number, launch number) and so on.

Examples of these messages are:

Cause

Insufficient information displayed in the Exchanger warning and error messages

Resolution

The exchanger data files are u_fecl60.dta and u_fecd60.dta, in case these files are not empty, it means that some multinode sessions or job event dependencies could not be resolved as the other node could not process the exchange order.

Solution:

Update to a fix version listed below or a newer version if available.

Solution Details:

Error and warning messages from Exchanger have beeen improved in Dollar Universe 6.10.91 / 7.0.01 via DU_AS-5773 giving more details of the context ( which uproc, session, management unit, node...) caused it so that the troubleshooting will be easier for Dollar Universe Administrators.
