Migrating document / folder permissions to new environment

Issue/Introduction

We have a lot of Documents that needs to be migrated from a source environment to a new environment. These documents are in Project Collaboration and also in Knowledge Store. We are able to migrate the documents and folders successfully through XOG. But it seems like XOG doesn’t migrate Document permissions or Folder permissions when migrating to a destination environment.

Can you please confirm if there is a XOG (or even REST) supported way to migrate document and folder permissions? If not, what alternate ways exists?

Resolution

There is no supported options to do this, but a few communities posts that may help:

• Moving documents
• Xog In Documents to the Project Object

If the above doesn't, another option is to post the request in communities to see if someone has found a way to do this.
