Issue/Introduction
How to start only IO server in Dollar Universe (Maintenance mode)
Environment
Release : 6.8 or superior
Component : DOLLAR UNIVERSE
Resolution
Two ways:
1. Start the Company in maintenance mode (only the IO server of the Production area will be started):
In command mode (Windows and UNIX): execute the "unistart -m" command
2. Other way to prevent start of all engines at the startup time on different areas (UVC):
Node settings -> Startup and shutdown -> Set the engines like ex. CAL LAN SUR EXC to No
Additional Information
For Dollar Universe 6.7 or inferior you can use command:
./unisetvar UNI_STARTUP_X IO
To revert the change you can either use the below command by typing all the engines which should be enabled during next startup
./unisetvar UNI_STARTUP_X "IO,CDJ,BVS"
or change the startup manually in UVC
