IP Address instead of Hostname in IM alarms windows.

Issue/Introduction

In Infrastructure Manager alarm window, why the robot alarms are generated with ip instead of hostname?

 

Environment

Release : 9.0.2

Component : UIM - UMP

Resolution

1. Make sure the Robot host name resolves from UIM Primary hub.

2. Go to NAS Probe configuration>>Name Services>>Properties and make sure "Enable name services" is checked.((the IP-addresses of the sources sending alarms will be resolved to host names according to the rules defined on this screen. ))

3. The tab contains two sub-tabs: 

    Properties 
    Address Table 

The IP-addresses (with corresponding host names) of all sources sending alarms will be listed under the Address Table sub-tab. 

4. Under 'Address Table', Add new entry with IP and hostname
