How to Sync benefit values with roadmaps

Issue/Introduction

The  "Benefit" field in Roadmaps is available, but it shows 0 even against Items that are linked to Projects with Benefit Plans in them. What are the criteria governing values getting synced with this field?

Resolution

 

The "Benefit" field in Roadmap Items gets updated when the following conditions are met:

1. There is a Benefit Plan present in the parent Project
2. That Benefit Plan is associated with the Plan of Record Cost Plan

Once a Benefit Plan is created it should be attached to the Cost Plan to provide data for Financial Calculations. 
 
In Classic you can associate the Benefit Plan either on the Cost Plan Properties page or Edit the Cost Plan List Page. Add the field to the list page if it is not showing.
 
In MUX you can do it on the POR Cost Plan - Details Flyout (configure the Benefit Plan attribute if it is not showing) or on the Cost Plan list page, make sure the  Benefit Plan column is showing.
